Death..



Death is so much safer than life!! For others make each minute hateful and compel us to hate life so that we will yearn for death which will take us far from this lustful, jealous, envious, criminal world. After all living in a place of walls with burning sulfur and hanging upside down above a volcano often seems less scary and much acceptable than living with man and his deeds. Life seems to be a training that we accept and love death for our souls must have complained to God they haven't lived on Earth while reclining in the peace and safety of heaven and finally got bored ;)

Even I have been intimidated by the discrimination the ancient Indians showed to the lower classes by denying them any education that was beyond their circle of skill or living.  Only the Kshathriyas and Brahmins were allowed the privilege of higher education.   My paternal home was my playground during holidays where I would chase after birds and squirrels while Grandpa, a retired headmaster, tended to his plants. That day I was busy filling his ears with all the bads I could imagine about the teachers I hated at school. Homeworks were leaching out my play hours and palms were sore due to the ‘cane thrashings’. I stopped as I saw two men assisting Grandpa to cut off branches from my favorite Guava tree. “They cannot cut my tree! That is rude”, my eyes welled up with tears which did not go unnoticed.
